The Anne Frank House (Dutch: Anne Frank Huis) is a writer's house and biographical museum dedicated to Jewish wartime diarist Anne Frank. The building is located on a canal called the Prinsengracht, close to the Westerkerk, in central Amsterdam in the Netherlands.

The Anne Frank House at Prinsengracht 263 is where she and her family hid for over two years during World War II. It has now been transformed into a museum with a sobering exhibition on the persecution of Jews during the war and discrimination in general.
The rooms in the Anne Frank House, although no longer containing any furniture, still exude the atmosphere of the period in hiding. Quotes from the diary, photos, film footage and original objects of the people in hiding and the helpers illustrate the events that took place here.

Anne Frank House in Amsterdam. For more than two years Anne Frank and her family lived in a hidden room of the building at Prinsengracht 263. The Van Pels family and Fritz Pfeffer lived there with them. The doorway to the hidden room was concealed behind a moveable bookcase that was constructed for this purpose.
