Jul 3, 2019 · My S9+ is doing the same thing. After I restart the robot, it works fine for one cleaning session, but then starts to slam into things again. I contacted iRobot and they want me to send a video. I am hoping this issue is as simple as a software update, but I don't want to cause any damage to the robot in the mean time.

iRobot i3+ vs. i4. Hi, I have an iRobot i4 (the Costco version of the i3 that comes with 2 extra filters, a virtual wall, and a 20% larger battery) without the auto-emptying dock (i.e. it's not an i3+), and I’m starting to see the convenience of the latter.
