Feb 8, 2024 · A few years ago, DD's classmate got in by DSA leadership. Her classmate was a head prefect in her primary school. She was subsequently elected as president of SNGS student council in her Y3. Another girl coincidentally from the same primary school (also DSA student) was elected as VP of the student council.

Aug 10, 2020 · If the child has done well in a popular competition such as Singapore Primary Science Olympiad (by NUS High), the chance of a successful DSA is high. Secondary school usually conduct its own selection tests (and interviews) for shortlisted candidates.
Mar 24, 2022 · focus and go all out for science dsa! Even for RI, Science is a really much, much less competitive DSA Domain to get in than Math. Go for Science Competitions and Olympiads and if your child can attain good achievements in the domain, the chances to get into popular schools like RI will be much higher than Maths.

All applicants are based on performance on their own selection tests. Perhaps due to Covid years, no written tests or camp test so results were submit via the same DSA portal.
There’s nothing quite like being able to discuss issues and network with other parents with children in the same school as yours. Individual Schools’ Official Parent Support Groups are welcome to come in and help out the incoming groups of parents.
