Zhu Houren (born Jack Choo Hoh Yim on 30 January 1955) is a Singaporean actor and filmmaker. In 2003, he made his feature film directorial debut with After School and in 2014 he produced the basketball film, Meeting the Giant.

As the older son of actor Zhu Houren, Jonathan Choo grew up with friends who would introduce him to other people with this line: “Eh, do you know who his father is?” Now 31 and totally comfortable in his own skin, Jonathan, who is a full-time independent director, no longer sees an issue with being known as Zhu Houren's son.
