Elmshaven is a historic house museum at 125 Glass Mountain Lane in St. Helena, California, United States. Also known as Ellen White House or Robert Pratt Place, it was the home of Ellen G. White from 1900 until her death in 1915.
Elmshaven, recognized as a National Historical site, is located at the upper end of Napa Valley, in northern California. It was built by Robert Pratt in the 1880s, a railroad magnate of San Francisco, who used the estate as his summer home.
Elmshaven is off the beaten path in beautiful St. Helena just off Rte 128. This is a restful and peaceful stop for those interested in knowing more about the spiritual leader Ellen White, her life, her writings. She was one if the founders of the Protestant Christian Seventh Day Adventist Church.
