The technical term is the Tail support assembly, common in B737 Freighters to avoid a tail tipping over during loading unloading ops. Its is not carried on the Aircraft but is present at each location the Aircraft operates too.

The plane CAN'T yet have Alaska branding because it's a Virgin jet flying Virgin flights. If it were operating Alaska flights they could at least say Alaska Airlines operated by Virgin America, but that changeover hasn't happened yet.

Unfortunately, a cancellation meant I was re-booked onto American Airlines for the flight to Honolulu, but I still had Alaska Airlines for the flight back. The difference was chalk and cheese!
