Tom
Bob and his twin brother Tom were very close during childhood, and it is logical to assume that they were each other's first real friends. During their teenage years, the twins went camping in Sunflower Valleyseveral times during the holidays. After his work move to the Arctic Circle, Tom rarely visited Bobsville, so Bob was happy for any opportunity for Tom to visit home.
Robert and Dorothy
Bob has a healthy relationship with his parents, although father Robert can be very opinionated. It was the latter who introduced Bob to construction and general technical work, although Bob initially did not see the point in it. What both Robert and Dorothyhave in common is that they call their son "Bobby", which Bob didn't like at first, but it later apparently stopped bothering him.
