Mar 15, 2017 · This is not true, f.lux did turn on this feature for me, and in addition it changed the dark mode settings for my windows as well. I de-installed f.lux because i found no way to permanently disable it in the settings, and simply pressing exit flux only worked until my computer went to sleep mode, because after waking it up, flux was on in full effect, even though it was the middle of the day.

Jun 13, 2015 · I have created a Windhawk mod for this purpose. This mod adjusts the Windows API for f.lux in such a way that f.lux thinks the time is always same, therefore not changing the colour automatically.

Night Light can be set as as warm as 1200K, but f.lux can be set as warm as 800K, and it can also do much more than Night Light can do (f.lux has more features and settings). However, as I set the temperature in f.lux warmer and warmer, everything gets more and more washed out. I hate it.

Dec 18, 2015 · 577. Views. Dec 10, 2021, 4:50 PM. There are two models: "White ambiance" and "white and color". White ambiance supports 2200K-6500K natively - f.lux will use dimming below 2200K. White and color support 2000K-6500K natively - f.lux will emulate warmer colors on these models using the color capabilities, so usefully 1200K-6500K works.
