I parked the camper up overnite after reversing it into position. No problem. Next day tried to move forward but camper would only show neutral.

A common fault due to failure of a microswitch but repair entails replacing the whole boot catch mechanism which also has to be painted to match the car so a long-winded repair.

One at a time, it needs to go all the way up, then wiggle the socket to release it. 7- The old clutch slave cylinder in place. It's quite rusty and dirty but there wasn't clear sign of fluid leak.
