Only do a spin when you are somewhat safe (You can dash while spinning, which will send the spin the the direction you are dashing.)

Jan 22, 2020 · Visually, the Guan Yu spear is gorgeous, and the VFX and SFX are fantastic. I particularly love the soft note that plays whenever you launch the spin attack. The slower attack speed and unique spin attack make the weapon feel very different from the other spear aspects in a way that other weapon aspects often fail to do.

Feb 14, 2020 · The Guan Yu is a very slow but extremely heavy hitting spear. Do not just spam the spin trying to drain tank, or you will become doomed. Any non-health ways to make yourself more survivable are huge, by the way. Weakness effects give you a much bigger buffer to heal up with for example.

Feb 16, 2022 · Here’s how I approach it. You really want Charged Skewer and a chunky percentage boost on special. Or you can do Merciful End. Or go all-in on the spin move with Quick Spin and Massive Spin and chuck giant self-healing death discs about. Tbh the only proper build with Guan Yu is charged skewer with Artemis on special.
