Katerina Vladimirovna Gordeeva (Russian: Катерина Владимировна Гордеева; born 23 March 1977) is a Russian journalist, documentary writer and author. She is most known for the work involved with Russia's NTV Documentary films from 2003 until 2012.
With her late husband Sergei Grinkov, she is the 1988 and 1994 Olympic Champion, a four-time World Champion (1986, 1987, 1989, 1990), a three-time European Champion (1988, 1990, 1994), the 1990 Goodwill Games champion, 1987 Soviet champion, and 1994 Russian champion in pair skating.
Nov 20, 2020 · On Nov. 20, 1995, two-time Olympic pairs champion Sergei Grinkov, aged 28, died of a heart attack in Lake Placid, New York, while practicing with his wife and partner, Ekaterina “Katia” Gordeeva, for the opening of the Stars on Ice tour just five days away.
