I have however, been on those smaller city runabout type buses that have occasionally pulled into a filling station for fuel.

These coach toilets are designed primarily for liquids and small solids (kid sized!). They aren't designed for large logs or depth-charged dumps of any description as there is no real vacuum to pull the solid down like a conventional toilet.
