  1. Racine (/ r ə ˈ s iː n, r eɪ-/ rə-SEEN, ray-) is a city in and the county seat of Racine County, Wisconsin, United States. It is located on the shore of Lake Michigan at the mouth of the Root River. Racine is situated 22 miles (35 km) south of Milwaukee and approximately 60 miles (100 km) north of Chicago.

    • Visit a number of buildings designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. The famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright was born in Wisconsin and the state is dotted with a large concentration of his works, including two major sites in Racine.

Here visitors can learn about the role the city played in the Underground Railroad, the secret routes used by enslaved African Americans to flee into free states, and how the Racine Belles won the first championship in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League in the 1940s, which was later portrayed in the film, A League of their Own.
    • Racine Zoo. Racine Zoo is one of the biggest zoos in the state, and it has received accreditation from the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. Currently, it is housing over 100 species of animals from different parts of the world.
    • Racine Art Museum. Racine Art Museum, better known as the RAM’s Charles A. Wustum Museum of Fine Arts, houses many significant pieces of contemporary art.
