Treviso (US: / t r eɪ ˈ v iː z oʊ / tray-VEE-zoh, Italian: [treˈviːzo] ⓘ; Venetian: Trevizo [tɾeˈʋizo]) is a city and comune (municipality) in the Veneto region of northern Italy. It is the capital of the province of Treviso and the municipality has 84,669 inhabitants (as of September 2017). [4]

- Chiesa di San Nicolo. The Church of San Nicolo is another important religious structure in the historic old town. Located in the south western part of the old town, the church is of immense size and towers over the surrounding structures.
