"Gorgeous" is rarely used in reference to a man, but when it is, it is really extravagant praise, even more so than when used in reference to a woman. A gorgeous man is a breathtakingly handsome man. So your best bet here would be "handsome" or "very handsome."

Mar 29, 2013 · He has a whole 2 adjectives to describe his food, delicious and GORGEOUS! (his favourite) with food, it's sickeningly cheesy. I might be exaggerating a bit but to me, a woman, a house, even a beach is "gorgeous" pero JAMAS! diria que una empanada es preciosa jaja. Just my opinion. Dec 17, 2007 · It's still considered cute and humorous to use today. I suspect, Kookyna, the person used these "filler words" with it just to make that line more of their own, personally. I would have punctuated it: "Why, hello there, gorgeous." In my opinion, whoever said this to you is sweet. AngelEyes.

"drop dead gorgeous/beautiful" is a phrase that gets used sometimes, but I am not sure you can use "drop dead" in a similar way with many other words.

Mar 6, 2013 · Mar 6, 2013. #4. It may be a BE/AE thing, but I would never use "as ever" as a synonym for "as always," though it's not necessarily wrong to do so. To me, "as ever" means "to the same extent as in the past," and usually follows "as + adjective": Her brother was there, and he was as obnoxious as ever.
