Buyers need to have a valid HDB Flat Eligibility (HFE) letter, before sellers can grant the Option to Purchase. Buyers who intend to get a bank loan, must have a Letter of Offer (LO), before exercising the Option to Purchase.

Make an informed decision. Log in to the HDB Flat Portal using your Singpass to apply for an HFE letter. The HFE letter will provide you with a holistic understanding of your housing and financing options and help you plan your budget before you embark on your home buying journey.
This service will take you about 5 to 10 minutes to complete. You may upload a maximum of 20 files per document type. Each transaction should not be larger than 40MB. If you need to attach more files, you may submit the remaining document (s) through multiple transactions.
