Aug 2, 2013 · Holistic education has always been the cornerstone of Qihua Primary School’s mission in nurturing its students. Qihua Primary is also a school where its students persevere to succeed and aspire for knowledge and life-long learning in the context of our national education goals.
Qihua Primary School was established in 1938 as Kay Wah School by a group of Chinese community leaders led by Mr Neo Tiew. The school offered education in the Chinese medium to the children of Ama Keng village.

Aug 10, 2013 · The school name Qihua Primary School is the hanyu pinyin name of Kay Wah School, founded in 1938 by a group of warm hearted pioneer educators led by Mr Neo Tiew the Headman of Ama Keng village. In Chinese, Qihua means ‘the opening of minds to receive education’.
