Starhub Fibre TV -- using ONT2, which is a seperate network comapred to your normal Fibre Internet. It is a private Starhub network specificly for the Fibre TV users. Starhub TV+ box -- it is just a streaming TV box, which use the same network as your Fibre TV. They do have some VLAN stuff for things like MediaCorp FTA channles.
Feb 8, 2022 · Starhub TV+ Pro box can not connect via wifi, just bring the box, power adaptor and remote control to Starhub customer service outlet like Tampines Mall Starhub to change the box. Try to take the box that do not have a fixed power cable. You have to plug in the power cable into a port on the TV box. After you set up the new box, it should be ok.

Then you can watch free to air on SH TV+ and still use your own router for wireless.
Feb 8, 2022 · Yes you can use chromecast from phone to TV if your TV is new and equipped with chromecast or Samsung smart view. For those with old TV or an old TV in the bedroom then the TV+ box is good especially for second or third TV. Just a few dollars for a second box. Their first Starhub Go streaming box is not that good but the box is still working ...

After their software update, now must use TV controller to adjust volume instead of the standard starhub controller. Called Starhub service hotline, guy said don't know anything. Wth. This is rubbish. Terminate Starhub, use Youtube Premium cheaper and better.
Sep 23, 2020 · then configure your tv to install and search those digital tv channels in sg (6 in total). once configured, it is pretty standard, press 2 for ch 5, 3 for ch 8 etc on the tv remote. to switch back to watch starhub, just change the source of the input (eg hdmi 1 if connected to starhub set top box)

Linksys mx4200 router. 2 tv+ passes: $30.28/mth (half price for 1st yr. 2nd yr is $60.58/mth) This is more than what I'm currently paying ($71/mth).

In that case you need to subscribe to Starhub Fibre Internet and use Nokia router for now (no idea why it is like this). Starhub TV+ pack.
Feb 11, 2019 · Starhub TV signal is from ONT Port-2. ONT Port-1 is solely for Internet/Router connection. This is the way Starhub setup for ONT ports purpose on TV and Internet have different IP Addresses &or bandwidth. Should there be any internet disruption it will not affect Pay-TV service unless the Fibre network infrastructure is damaged.
