Those expecting a level of action production for action blockbuster might be disappointed, but the saving grace comes in unexpected engaging drama and an adequate crime thriller. Nick (Vince Vaughn) is a planner for heist, he scouts the place, sets up escape routes, then sells the whole gig to another party.
A group of men are shot dead in an abandoned garage, and petrol is poured over the bodies and a lit match is thrown into the petrol. Car chases and gun fights occur frequently. An explosion on an armoured vehicle occurs whilst the public run for safety. A kidnapp occurs later on with a teenage girl.
A desperate man, Nick takes out a life insurance policy on himself, payable to his estranged daughter (Hailee Steinfeld). But the policy doesn't take effect for 21 days and he might not live that long.
