Sep 20, 2024 · Celebrate Dalton annual Homecoming with the school community. Homecoming games begin on Thursday. The fun continues on Friday with games and the 4th-6th Grade Volleyball Clinic in the 87th Street Gym.
We receive applicants from a wide array of schools from many locations throughout the city and neighboring suburbs and from out of state and international schools. We do not, however, have boarding facilities as we are a day school and cannot accommodate students who do not live with their families.
Apply to High School. Ninth grade, the start of high school, is our second largest entry point, after kindergarten. The best time to apply to Dalton's high school is during the fall of the applicant's eighth grade year; applications are no longer accepted after mid-November.

Approximately 1300 students enjoy the advantages of gender inclusive education, interacting meaningfully both inside and outside the classroom with their peers and our dynamic faculty. Dalton’s student body comprises young people who represent a wide variety of talent, background, and experience.
