Permalink. Night Light... FROM THE DARK is an excellent low-budget creeper from Ireland. After opening with a hideous resurrection and a vicious attack, we are introduced to Sarah and Mark (Niamh Algar and Stephen Cromwell), who are just passing through the vast, mostly uninhabited countryside.
Synopsis. In true thriller (and horror movie) form, From the Dark begins with good intentions. Valerie Faust (Aisling "Tucker" Moore Reed, aka Wyn Reed), has worked as a tour guide at a remote cave resort in the Pacific Northwest for the past several years.

In no way do I feel "From the Dark" is a masterpiece of the cinematic age; however, I do think it is an impressive film that took place contained wholly in Southern Oregon, independently funded by first-time film makers for les than $25,000.
