Not only that, I'm amazed how much the show can make me love two characters without a single line of dialog. Even though I was recommended this just because of the dinosaurs, I'd really recommend it anyone!

Unicorn feels like Tartakovsky most experimental work. The art style and character designs are clearly inspired by the animation of the 30s and 40, with the most obvious influence being Walt Disney and Betty Boop, with some elements of classic Astro Boy. The lead character Emma's design looks exactly like Betty Boop.

May 12, 2023 · how do I learn Genndy tartakovsky art style. Well when I do style studies of artists I like I look up references of their characters, draw them as similarly as I can, and write notes of my observations. Like are there more round shapes in the characters than sharp ones, are there thin lines, how realistic are the eyes, etc.
