May 25, 2022 · Last week, the University announced that JMA Wireless, a global leader in the wireless industry and 5G technology headquartered in Syracuse, has entered a 10-year naming rights partnership, ending the 40-year legacy of the Carrier Dome name and ushering in the JMA Wireless Dome era (or JMA Dome for short).
It is the only domed stadium in the Northeast, and is the largest structure of it's kind on a college campus in the country. Since its opening on September 20, 1980, the facility has hosted a wide variety of events and is the home of the S.U. football, men's basketball, and men's and women's lacrosse.
