I know the Bucket woman is just a character, but many of us instantly think of Hyacinth when Patricia Routledge comes to mind. I have no problem with her sexuality at all. mariets Posts: 1,262.

  4. Feb 4, 2007 · Patricia Routledge. Patricia Routledge - one horrible stuck up cow!!! Heard her doing a live interview on my local BBC radio station (Merseyside) and she spoke to the interviewer like sh!te. Hope she's down the hole soon!!! I always thought she was Pam St Clements partner.

  5. Feb 16, 2007 · Jackie Woodburn and Pam St. Clement both openly and happily homosexual. Sorry to disappoint you. I knew about Pam St.Clement, but Jackie Woodburne is a big surprise... I'm not really interested in her private life as it is that, but i think shes a great actress and makes the character of Pat very believeable.

  6. Jan 27, 2016 · One of the funniest gags in the whole series was a shot of Onslow reading in bed with Judy Cornwall. The title of the book in his hands was "Condensed Matter Physics" - not something in which you would think Onslow would have any interest (or capability of understanding). Grouty Posts: 34,552.

  7. Jan 20, 2023 · 21/01/23 - 16:32 #10. Patricia Routledge is just the most fantastic actress. Hyacinth of course - but she was also brilliant at portraying Victoria Wood's creation, 'Kitty' - hilarious. She was memorable in the first series of Talking Heads as a busybody spinster, 'A Lady of Letters'.

  8. May 8, 2005 · A very good actress but why has she not appeared in anything on TV for ages. I heard she went in for the Miss Marple part but didn't get it.

  9. Jul 16, 2013 · There have been several attempts between 1995 and 2005 to produce one-off specials (including one that was supposed to be set in Disneyland) and the only one to decline each time was Patricia Routledge. I think she just wanted to stay away from it once she'd decided she wanted to do no more.
