RJ Balaji was born on 20 June 1985 in Chennai, Tamilnadu, India. RJ is an actor and writer, known for Mookuthi Amman (2020), Naanum Rowdy Thaan (2015) and Veetla Vishesham (2022).
In 2006, he auditioned and got selected as radio jockey, though he never knew what an RJ was back then. He started his career as a radio jockey at Radio Mirchi Coimbatore, with a three-hour morning drive show called ‘Hello Coimbatore ‘ which dealt with social issues.
