Nov 21, 2022 · 25 posts · Joined 2020. #6 ·Dec 14, 2022. We have had our 2020 Ascent at the dealership five, perhaps six times now for brake-related issues. I don't have my records nearby, but we have had at least one, perhaps two full rotor and pad replacements so far.

Apr 20, 2024 · I asked her if the Cargo Area Lighting Kit would fit my 2020 Ascent. She checked with their parts department and according to them the lighting kit does NOT fit the 2020 Ascent, but the verbiage she used was something like "not at this time." If what she told me is correct, perhaps Subaru is working on an accessory kit for earlier Ascent models?

So I've read a good amount on the Ascent front rotor issues and confirmed by speaking with a good friend of mine who's a Subaru Master Mechanic. General consensus says the Ascent front brakes are beefy. The rotors are well sized (diameter) and the calipers are an upgrade for pretty much all other Subarus.

Feb 18, 2023 · Greetings. I am installing the REDARC tow pro elite today. I did install the OEM tow hitch receiver. It was two hour snap in. Thanx for these instructions. I do have to wire connect the harness. One from the under dash white plug with an inline fuse. This was supplied with the tow hitch receiver.

However, I ended up going with the Tekonsha P3 and mounted it to the fuse door. I bought an extra OEM door for around $5 from the dealer. When not towing, I disconnect the pigtail and swap fuse doors and keep the ...
Dec 2, 2021 · Press it and hold it for 10 seconds or more and the system will reset. Then you can run the hatch as normal. This guy only knew about it because it had happened to him. There is all sorts of info in the manual about how to open a malfunctioning hatch but not how to close and latch one.
