The Family Stone judges Meredith for being judgmental and yet, they were being judgmental of her from day one and the film doesn't recover from it because it refuses to acknowledge how wrong the family is for doing what they are accusing Meredith of. The infamous dinner scene which has Meredith misspeaking.
My friend told me to watch the family stone about 2 or 3 Christmases ago. I do genuinely enjoy this movie, also SPOILER if you haven’t seen the ending, but I don’t get the whole two brothers falling in love with two sisters, especially when one of them used to date.

Except for Wilson’s character wouldn’t want to spend five minutes with any of them (and he’s kind of loser creep so maybe not) even if they seem perfectly normal and charming.
The Family Stone is a very underrated Christmas/RomCom. There are a multitude of diverse characters each with their own baggage and storyline. Which one is your favorite and why? Mine, Ben Stone (played by Luke Wilson). He's an emotional character with his heart on his sleeve, he can't keep anything in and his comedic timing is spot on. Thoughts???

Platform doesn't really matter, as long as they are available to view in the U.S. I am not a fan of Vince Vaugh, Aniston or Owen Wilson. Love Susan Sarandon, Mary Steenburgen and Craig T. Nelson.
