Jun 13, 2017 · The only area where the B7 occasionally struggled was with darker films like Underworld: Blood Wars because in order to retain the specular highlights the rest of the image could appear rather dark. However LG's approach to tone mapping is intended to retain the content creator's original intention and we would rather a slightly darker image than have detail clipped in the highlights.

Here the EZ1000’s limited brightness compared to an LCD TV resulted in images that lacked any real depth or impact and whilst there are things you can do to mitigate this, you lose the accuracy that Panasonic are striving for.

Aug 29, 2007 · Picture. Encoded via MPEG-2 1080p, the 2.40:1 image for Underworld: Evolution is great but not spectacular. A very early release on Bu-ray, this title would still have been considered a flagship-title in its day, but despite being superficially scintillating, there are a fair few problems that, whilst minor, do detract.
