Nov 13, 2015 · Use a partition manager like the win32 hard disk manager or GParted on linux to create separate partitions for each distro install. For linux distro install partitions, use ext3 or ext4 (FAT* and others will work, it just helps to be sure). Otherwise (Windows or MacOS install) IMHO it shouldn't matter.

Sep 14, 2019 · It's probably Yumi, or one of the two files is sitting on the DOS boot sector. To boot to DOS, IO.SYS must actually be at the boot sector--the BIOS isn't going to go searching the disk for it. It's the same thing with the later WINBOOT.SYS and Windows PE.
Dec 14, 2015 · USAFRet : Ah Try using this Windows USB/DVD Download Tool or this Rufus ...to create your USB install media. I don’t see the need for either of these tools. Just use DiskPart to make the USB stick partition active (and to format FAT32 if needed) and copy the contents of the ISO into the partition.
Dec 24, 2021 · Use Yumi to make that ISO a bootable flash drive. Also use Yumi to add disk manager software. (Mini Tool Partition Wizard.iso, or boot-repair-disk-64bit.iso.) Boot machine with flash drive to confirm you can load all of the above. Boot to disk manager, delete all partitions, create new partitions if needed.
Jun 15, 2014 · I actually did get that program installed before I restarted my PC. However, EaseUS said my partitions were simple (the yellow-gold color and didn't give the option of converting to basic), but Disk Management said they were dynamic.
