Jan 5, 2011 · I have a B&Q account as its handy if you need something late when working in the evenings (my local B&Q is 5 mins away and is open till 9pm on weekdays and Saturday). I too would recommend toolstation and screwfix for bits and pieces and a general builders merchants for larger items.
Sep 15, 2023 · So we have spoken to B&Q and in our case they are investigating and say that they will revert to us. In the event that they DON'T agree to issue a refund, I will be raising a dispute with Paypal - who I used to pay for the blinds - to get a refund from B&Q. Doesn't matter what they might say about it being a marketplace seller - check your payment method (credit card / Paypal).
Jan 1, 2008 · The b&q discount card is 10% off valid for over 60s on wednesdays it is quite a good offer and no minimum spend required. You just fill a form in and you can use it right away ask at the till
Oct 29, 2020 · I've just signed up for a B&Q Club Card which says I'll get a voucher for £5 when I spend £30, I'm assuming I won't get £5 for every £30 I spend, that would be very generous!

Jan 9, 2011 · Remember if B & Q charge you £3k for fitting, the fitter will only be getting one third of that. The rest will go to B & Q s bottom line. You will get better quality form a local indepndent fitter, whose work you can check and can get references for.
Nov 28, 2022 · Upon reading the reviews on the taps that have been sold by B & Q over a number of years, it seems clear to me that B & Q taps fail after about 2 years. Finally our en-suite basin tap which had become stiffer and stiffer broke completely, just short of the two year prediction.
Mar 23, 2010 · I don't know what other B & Q stores are like but my local store has recently installed self-service check-outs and removed ALL manned tills. I have been through them 3 times since they were installed and every single time, the machine either won't recognise an item or won't accept cash or just simply freezes.
Oct 6, 2018 · I bought an item online for delivery to my home address on Saturday 6 October. On Friday 5 October I received a text to inform me that the item would be delivered that day. When I arrived home, I called B&Q customer service to request redelivery for Saturday 6 October as per my order.
