John Askew. Actor: The English Game. Originally from Sheffield, John played football at Academy level until he was 16. As a teenager he appeared in Shameless for Channel 4, Spooks Liberty for BBC and The Street for ITV. He studied Law at the University of York and in his third year was cast in the rep season at York Theatre Royal.
