Nov 21, 2006 · Black Sheep 2.0 is really just Dres, whereas Mista Lawnge, who produced much of their legendary debut, is doing his own thing solo (look for his 2006 CD The Class of 89 released as Mr. Long). Despite the cryptic album title, 8wm/Novakane is definitely worth a listen, as Dres still flips the cocky/slick verbals, set to jazz-heavy beats provided by Vitamin D and Showbiz.

Black Sheep returned with 8WM/Novakane, initially released as a digital download in 2006 before being given a physical release a year later.
