Travis Lazarus "Travie" McCoy (born August 5, 1981) is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. He is the co-founder and lead vocalist of the rap rock band Gym Class Heroes , which he formed in 1997 along with childhood friend Matt McGinley after the two became acquainted with East Coast punk rock scenes as teenagers.
