The Ragnaud Sabourin family has, in the cognac Region, the two-fold characteristic of being both vine grower and négociant of 35 hectares of vineyards in the Grand Champagne Cognac area. Thus, since 1850, the family is perpetuating the great tradition of craftmanship with an unshakeable family philosophy : from the vine to the eaux-de-vie only produce the best quality in limited quantities.
The entry level cognac produced is the Ragnaud Sabourin Alliance No. 4 VS. Other notable cognacs include the Ragnaud Sabourin Le Paradis. This is produced from 90% eaux-de-vie from the beginning of the 20th century, and 10% pre-phylloxera from before 1870. They also produce single year vintages, such as the Ragnaud Sabourin Millesime 1988.

Sep 24, 2021 · Marcel Sabourin was born in Montreal in 1935, an only child, and studied philosophy at College Sainte Marie before turning to theatre. He continued his theatre studies with Bill Greaves at Théâtre du Nouveau Monde, and in clowning with Jacques Le Coq in Paris.
