  2. No core curriculum requirement, foreign language course, or course in the Moody College of Communication may be taken on a pass/fail basis. Only 15 hours of non-Communication electives may be taken on a pass/fail basis. Students must take at least 36 upper-division credit hours. At least 60 hours for the degree must be taken in-residence.

On Nov. 7 2013, the College was officially named the Moody College of Communication following an historic $50 million gift from the Moody Foundation.Combined with the Moody College’s previous endowments, the Moody Foundation gift creates the largest endowment for the study of communication at any public university in the nation.
