Crossfire is one of the best film noirs to come out of RKO Studios; it is a film of many firsts. It was executive producer Dore Schary's first film for RKO; Dore Schary would later take over as chief of production at MGM in 1948.

2023 . 1h 30m. CROSSFIRE is a story of redemption.Agent Mark Patson who takes down the deadliest Gorilla Gang, loses his wife in a crossfire which drags away his daughter. After few years when he tries to bring back his daughter, the last surviving member of gang tries to hunt her down.
The first B movie to be nominated for Best Picture. That's not a knock or anything, this literally is a B movie. Though the film is about a 1940s detective solving a murder while gnashing on a pipe, Crossfire isn't really a noir - it doesn't have that same level of disillusionment and grease that defines the genre.
