Sep 21, 2005 · Atco was a subsidiary of Atlantic. The first Atco label was yellow with black printing. "ATCO" is in white letters above the center hole. Behind the "A" in Atco is a drawing of a music lyre in black. This label was the original issue on records 33-101 to at least 33-138. Early stereo albums on Atco used the same label, with "STEREO" added.
