May 18, 2007 · Also, a TV show would have been more likely to use zoom lenses back then (as now), and possibly push-process for difficult night stuff. Plus some old shows used diffusion-type filters, which were popular in the 1970's, like Fogs and LowCons. New transfers off of the original 35mm negatives of these old shows can look quite sharp and rich.
In this review, for convenience, I will call the lens FUJIAN CHINA TV LENS GDS-35 f = 35mm 1: 1.7 in abbreviated form - Fujian 35/1.7. This lens has a C-MOUNT mount (thread) and can be easily installed on any modern mirrorless camera using a simple and cheap adapter.
