For more than 38 years, the Oasis Taiwan Porridge restaurant’s mainstay has been the humble Taiwan porridge, a traditional staple for many Asians. Patrons old and young have downed countless mouthwatering bowls of pearly white rice grains boiled to perfection with chunks of hand-picked fragrant sweet potatoes.
The Oasis Taiwan Porridge restaurant which has been in business for more than 38 years is now located at Toa Payoh Town Park that is opposite the HDB Hub and next to the Toa Payoh Swimming Complex. It was previously located next to the Indoor Stadium and opposite the old National Stadium.
Feb 7, 2024 · Ever since they moved to the new premises, Oasis has become more of a seafood restaurant and has introduced new dishes to their menu which used to be classic Taiwan Porridge fare. One of the new items on their menu is the salted fish steamed pork which is quite good.
