The Griebnitz Canal (German: Griebnitzkanal, pronounced [ˈɡʁiːpnɪts.kaˌnaːl] ⓘ), formerly known as the Prinz-Friedrich-Leopold-Kanal, is a canal in the western suburbs of Berlin, the capital city of Germany.
The length of the Griebnitzsee is navigable, and forms part of the Teltow Canal route that links the River Havel with the River Spree and the Oder-Spree Canal, bypassing the reach of the River Spree through central Berlin.

May 2, 2017 · This area of the Teltow Canal is surrounded by nature and very rewarding. There is hardly anything to remember about the city. With a bit of luck, several cranes can be observed up close. There are numerous ways to combine the canal path with hiking alternatives and sights. The path is easy and easy to walk on, but not barrier-free.
