Jun 28, 2024 · I use the Microsoft Authenticator app (on iOS) for my work email so figured I'll add my hotmail accounts in there as well (makes sense as it guarantees secure login). When Mail prompted me to enter my password, instead of entering it, I was able to approve sign-in via the Microsoft Authenticator app on my phone.
