Marius Re Goring CBE FRSL (23 May 1912 – 30 September 1998) was an English stage and screen actor. He is best remembered for the four films he made with Powell & Pressburger, particularly as Conductor 71 in A Matter of Life and Death and as Julian Craster in The Red Shoes.

Marius Goring. Actor: The Red Shoes. The son of Dr. Charles Buckman Goring M.D. and Kate Winifred (nee MacDonald). Marius Goring was educated at Perse School, Cambridge, England and at the Universities of Frankfurt, Munich, Vienna and Paris. He studied for the stage under Harcourt Williams at the Old Vic dramatic school, London.
Marius Re Goring was born in Newport, Isle of Wight on 23 May 1912. He was the son of an eminent physician and researcher, Dr Charles Goring and author and pianist, Kate Winifred Macdonald.
Marius made his amateur stage debut at the age of twelve in 1925 in Crossings: A Fairy Play, the only play written by the famous poet Walter de la Mare.
