4 days ago · 沿革. 最初の アカデミー賞 の授与（1929） もともとアカデミー賞の授賞式は 1929年 に設立された「 映画芸術科学アカデミー 」の夕食会の一環として始まった。 第1回は 1929年 5月16日に ロサンゼルス にあるルーズベルトホテルで行われた夕食会の際に舞台上で、3カ月前に授賞を通知しておいた受賞者を招待して賞を贈与した。 当初はオスカー像ではなく、同様のデザインを施した楯が贈られた。 第1回授賞式で、『 第七天国 』で女優賞を受賞した ジャネット・ゲイナー によれば、「これからも互いにいい仕事をして頑張りましょうという程度の、ちょっとした内輪の集まりだったのよ」と当時の様子を振り返っており、授賞式は5分程度で簡単に済まされていた。
