Seven Stories, the National Centre for Children's Books is a museum and visitor centre dedicated to children's literature and based in the Ouseburn Valley, Newcastle upon Tyne, close to the city's regenerated Quayside.
Seven Stories has been mounting exhibitions since 1998 – first in borrowed venues and now in its own home. Here, we provides the only exhibition space in the UK wholly dedicated to showcasing the incomparable legacy of British writing and illustrating for children.
We select original artwork and manuscripts - from first scribbles to finished books - to create our innovative exhibitions and popular events.
