Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu (born 11 July 1953) is an Indian politician and chancellor of Rishihood University. He has served as the Minister of Civil Aviation, Railways, Commerce & Industry in the First Modi ministry. He is a Chartered Accountant by profession and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
Suresh Prabhu was a member of Shiv Sena from the year 2006 to 2014. However, he is known as one of the members within closer circles of the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. From the year 1996 to 2009, Suresh has won from Maharashtra Konkan’s Rajapur LS seat four times.
