She returns home with her seemingly loving husband Rob but a missing phone and a series of lies reveal that not everything is as it seems.
A woman wakes up with amnesisa having fallen down the stairs. Could her defensive, inadequate, control-freak of a husband have had anything to do with it? Unsurprisingly, in 'Close to Me', the answer turns out to be "yes". But it's a strange sort of drama, in which the truth is clearly suspected before it is revealed to either character or viewer.
For me, this was the best episode of the series, thoroughly enjoyed this, a real mix of tension, humour, suspense and some big surprises. I played out many scenarios in my mind, I'm not sure I expected this outcome, but what was done, was done incredibly well.
