The second act builds on a climax in which the characters stands up for himself, literally and figuratively, and then takes on a sociopathic bully, who is one of this year's scariest villains.
Director Jon Favreau & the rest of the crew, have maintained the soul of the 1967 animated movie of the same name. Kudos to the visual effects team, for making a live-action adaptation of a movie like The Jungle Book.
The movie features several frigate birds, particularly when baby Moana helps the baby turtle get to the sea. Polynesians sometimes used frigate birds to help navigate toward new islands. However, they spend very little time on land, and never eat there.
