  2. He shouldnÂ’t be compare to the likes of Joe Dwyer, Whitts or Don Murray and yet he was universally liked by fans (I think anyway) and so is deserving of recognition. Naming a stand after him would be a bit much I think.

  3. Oct 23, 2020 · Don Murray was an excellent centre half for us. He was the only pro footballer who kicked the ball with his toes. I noticed when he took a "celebrity" penalty at half time at Ninian Park a few years back he still used the same toe ball technique. 24-10-20, 09:18 #13.

  5. Aug 27, 2024 · We don't talk much tennis on here but what an effort from Dan Evans. Just won the longest match ever un US Open history (5 hrs 35 mins) after being 4 - 0 down in the final set. He came back to win six games in a row to take the fifth set 6 - 4. I only turned it on when it was 4 - 4 to see him win the final two games.

  9. I don't recall ever seeing that happen and as TOBW has just posted it's happened before. You could well be right about him doing better than Henman but there aren't any players with the mental capacity of Djokovic and Nadal. Maybe he'll slot into somewhere between Henman and Murray. I just don't see him winning a Slam.
