Feb 28, 2024 · Geoff Keighley has two major problems: 1. His entire livelihood and proximity to fame/celebrities depends on not stepping on any toes. This means he can't call out industry injustice, lest he lose sponsor money and his famous "friends". He is a desperate starfucker who can't bear the thought of losing access to the Timothee Chalamets of the world.

He's too involved with the behind the scenes marketing/publisher stuff to be in touch with people who actually play those games. He's ironically out of touch with the community.

Hard Drive are being way too serious and blunt about it and Geoff can easily ignore them since they're obviously farming engagement from him for their site (and from what folks on Era say, Hard Drive as a parody site is a shell of its former self anyhow.)
