Feb 27, 2015 · 1. Yes, "hello." is a valid utterance on its own. No, interjections do not constitute "full sentences" or "complete sentences" in the sense in which those phrases are typically used. For instance, when a teacher asks one to write in "complete sentences," I do not believe "Hello." would be an acceptable sentence.
